New Delhi, March 10 (PTI) A 27-year-old man, who used to supply illicit alcohol after sticking a police sticker on his car windshield, has been arrested in the northwest of Delhi, officials said Thursday.
The accused was identified as Veerpal, a resident of Najafgarh, they said.

At around 12.30pm on Wednesday, police set a trap in Haiderpur Shalimar Bagh area near Caspia Hotel on the basis of a tip-off.
They intercepted a car heading towards them. The car was found loaded with 24 cartons of illicit liquor, Deputy Police Commissioner (North West) Usha Rangnani said.

A police sticker was also found affixed to the windshield of the car, police said.
During questioning, he revealed that he bought a car to smuggle alcohol and managed a police sticker and stuck it on the windshield of the car to dodge the police, they said.
He used to buy alcohol for sale in Haryana only from different licensed dealers in Kharkhouda, Sonepat and started smuggling in different parts of Delhi, they said.
The accused was previously involved in excise law and extortion cases, police added.
